It's Bonus Time!
So one of the difficulties of making a comprehensive site parodying every Arashi PV is deciding just what exactly qualifies as an "Arashi PV." For example, is it every promotional video extra attached to a single? If so, that leaves out Lucky Man. Should Ohno's solo PV count? Should the live version of We Can Make It that was aired on some music channels count? Is All or Nothing really a PV since it's part of a larger concert video?
So many questions!
And that's where Fight Song comes in.
Fight Song was the B-side to Arashi's wildly popular Love So Sweet single. It was a song composed by the members of Arashi, with the assistance of faithful viewers and other acquaintances, and Nino handled the composition. You see, Nino had this little movie called "Letters from Iwo Jima" that he was filming at the time and it required him to be overseas in America for an extended period. So Fight Song became an anthem of "Good Luck! Do Your Best!" and made its official debut during Arashi's short-lived, but seriously awesome, show, "G no Arashi."
However, at the time it was just the four remaining members of Arashi bouncing around on stage like happy puppies during an air-guitar contest. (If you just went, "...what?" then I do highly suggest you watch G no Arashi.) It wasn't until G was canceled and a CxDxG no Arashi DVD was released that we got the official "video" for Fight Song. (Side note: while I'm at it, C and D no Arashi were shows that preceded G. D is definitely worth checking out as well.)
But...it's not really a PV. It's just a highlights reel of D and G no Arashi. A highlights reel stuck on a compilation DVD. Because of that, I didn't think Fight Song should be counted as an official PV.
However, there's no denying that there is a video for Fight Song. And so - BONUS TIME!
